BEHIND THE CAMPAIGN - AUTUMN/WINTER 2021

BEHIND THE CAMPAIGN - AUTUMN/WINTER 2021

2020 has been a challenging year for us all. Usually I get inspired by travel for my collections. But 2020 has been about staying home. I’ve actually enjoyed this. A quieter pace, daily routines and enjoying the familiar. After travelling so much I know that we actually have the best of everything here in SA!

The other day I walked beyond Merino Rocks and the view reminded me of the Amalfi Coast. I love our Adelaide Hills Wines like Sidewood and Shaw & Smith and regions like McLaren Vale and the Barossa. I just tried the delicious Prohibition Christmas Gin at their cool bar on Gilbert Street in the city.

I just tried the delicious Prohibition Christmas Gin at their cool bar on Gilbert Street in the city. And I love shopping at the Central Markets for local produce at places like the House of Health. We are so spoilt and not missing out with the best of life in our own backyard. I’m happy and proud to be secluded in the borders of SA.

AW21 will see us searching for comfort to match our lifestyles. And probably the return of some fun! My AW21 collection is about my wardrobe favourites. A silky shirt with soft jersey sleeves that push up and fit simply into a jacket. The classic trench that’s the perfect weight for our trans-seasonal climate. My absolute favourite item, the Ponti Stretch Blazer. Beautifully cut to elevate any outfit, even worn simply with jeans, a tee and white sneakers. A few feminine floaty dresses and tops for when you want to have some fun and go to the Winter Reds or Cabaret Festival. My mock wrap pants will be a staple that are stylish, comfortable and go day to night.

This shoot was set at ‘The Laurels’ in Mylor. This property is being renovated and will be open in March 2021. Named after a huge row of established trees curving along the entranceway, ‘The Laurels’ is one of the earliest cottages established in Mylor and has a beautiful area called ‘The Front Paddock’ perfect for long lunches or weddings. We loved shooting here so much we booked the location for our own long lunch in The Front Paddock.

I’m extremely proud of being an Adelaide girl and like me the Huntress range is 100% made in Adelaide. My team work hard on executing perfect cuts, considered details and we hope every Huntress piece will become a favourite you will keep for years to come. Enjoy!
